Wonderful food and friendly servers

We enjoyed our food. The baked potato was super big and delicious. 😋 I also had fried okra. It was cooked just right. We had a great server 😊 her name is Shyann. Look her up when you go. You won't be disappointed! Prices are great for the amount of food you get.

Long wait but food was great

Loved the laid back atmosphere of this place. Food is fantastic!

Waiting 45 minutes for food is ridiculous. The staff was nice but the food wasn't worth that long of a wait and they weren't that busy.

Great staff , good food and love the live music.

I ordered a to-go order and was told it would take 10-15 minutes to be ready. Finally, 50 minutes later it was ready. Not very good for a first time experience. However, the wings were delicious. Definitely would recommend, just hope that the wait that I experienced isn't a normal occurrence.

Carly, our waitress was nice and the onion straws were so good. So were the extra hot wings. But everything else was very bland... the flamethrower burger patty was very bland, the ribs were dry, the okra was undercooked. Nice atmosphere though. If I come back, I'll have the wings and onion straws.

We got the fifteen piece wing sampler basket. We chose three flavors. The wings were small and a bit dried out and tough. The dry rub was a good taste, a nice blend of spices. The lemon pepper, they did ask if we wanted them wet or dry and we chose dry, I would suggest wet because with the dry they just pile lemon pepper over dry wings and they are very grainy and tangy. The hot buffalo were just ok. The basket came with two pieces of celery, no chips, no fries. We should have checked the menu closer but most places at least have chips or offer a side if it is just wings, so our whole meal was fifteen wings. We left hungry. Two beers and 15 wings $20.00. I wasn’t impressed with the food.The restaurant was nice, it had a sports bar atmosphere, very roomy, clean restrooms. Staff was pleasant but never ask if we were pleased with our food or service.

Daily spot for the last week, they have a great variety of delicious food and some very friendly and amazing staff! Great drink selection too! Not much else in Oxford, but don’t pass through without stopping here, it would definitely be your loss... 😁😁😁

Food had no flavor and hamburgers were cooked well well done. They were hard with no flavor. Waitress did not know what cheddar cheese was. Would not go to eat a meal. Bar food may be better. Hostess sat at bar when we came in and was very dirty with food all over her shirt.

Only one visit. It was ok. I'd probably go back to see if I could find a better choice on the menu. The fries are really good.

This was the first time visited Gridiron. My friends recommended this place to me . The service was great , food was great aswell. I liked that we had a choice to sit inside or outside. We chose to sit out side on a beautiful sunny day with a light breeze blowing... there nothing better then good friends and good food and great service.. we will be back ,next time I will try their wings.

Looked at the reviews and decided to take a chance. It was sooo good. I had the aisan sweet and spicy wings and the hot wings. Ice cold draft at a great price!! Definitely going back!

I have tried this place three times this past year and they are disappointing. The wings are cooked so hard they are crunchy and inedible. They have absolutely no sauce on the wings. Brisket was very dry as well. The service is slow. It seems they only hire young teenage girls and they aren't very attentive or knowledgeable. Never has gotten better, so will not come back again.

Gridiron is a nice place as a sports bar and a grill, the employees are fine and friendly. It's a cool place after work all day.

Waited 10 minutes before seated. Had to ask to be seated. Then get up and get menus. We seated ourselves outside after the waitress told us we could. Waited 15 minutes server never came went inside to place an order then told there was no fries so we left.

Well, i arrived about dinner time 630pm ish, i ordered a half rack of ribs, what i got (and im a smoker) was burnt, dried out, terrible ribs. Do not come here for bbq, its a divey bar and thats what brings the locals, also the ribs were not taken care of (membrane was still attached) and i couldnt eat the last two they were too dried out and burnt. I told the bartender (as i was sitting at the bar) that they were the worst ribs id ever had. This is a local spot for local beers,.

Wings are great! Loved sitting outside on the patio. Live music was great. Affordable prices and super nice staff

This place could do a lot better. It is mixed because service can be good. But then bad. .

The food was alright. Nothing special. We came in second place in their Tuesday trivia night. So that was cool.

Just wanted a snack tonight so I ordered crispy fried pickles. They were cooked perfectly. Best I’ve ever had and Steph took excellent care of me. Made me feel like I was at home.

The atmosphere makes this place even more awesome. The philly cheesesteak and fries couldnt have been better. We will be back.

Have eaten here several times and the food is consistently delicious. The brisket sandwich is delicious. The wings are good and crispy. I'm a fan

We had 9 people in our group, after dinner 4 of the 9 were sick that night into the next two days. I ordered brisket w/ honey bbq sauce and received pot roast w/ a sauce mixed w/ marinara.

Although they weren't busy, the kitchen was slow and got the order wrong. The server was polite but didn't notice the mistakes.

Ordered a 10 dollar burger for it not to come with fries no sides just hamburger for 10 bucks had to pay extra for fry

This place over serves their customers then watches them walk out the door. Dont care if they make it home or not, as long as they tip, they serve. Surprised they haven't been sued yet!

The grandslam burger is amazing!! Perfectly cooked and perfectly proportioned not too much or too little of anything!! Just wish the fries came with it!! Definitely will be back

Celebrated my birthday here and had a great time! Bartender was awesome! Great food! My kind of place, excellent beer selection!

We started out with a group of 6 which quickly turned into a group of 14 on a College Football Saturday. The place was packed but the staff quickly got us all seated. The food was good, but the service was great. Rikki was our waitress and she was outstanding. We will be back!

Best burger and fries

Got a bar b que sandwich. The meat had a good taste but it only had a dab of sauce. And fries which was supposed to be shoestring was the size of the shoes instead. Go figure.

Great loaded baked potato.

This is my favorite place to eat out! I absolutely love their stuffed baked potatoes and they make a pretty good pee wee salad as well. I would recommend it to anyone!

We were seated immediately though, when I commented about how loud the music was and asked to sit outside, the hostess suggested we sit off to the side of the bar. We agreed thinking it would be quieter. It wasn't. When I say the music was loud, I mean it was too loud for a week night dinner and truly terrible. I like country music but I couldn't understand a word the singer was mumbling. Next time I will insist on an outside table to escape the music. The volume could have been halved and we still would have been able to hear him fine.We ordered cheeseburgers, wings, and corn nuggets. All of our food was good and in plentiful portions. Our server, Rikki, was friendly and took great care of us. She was professional and conversational without being intrusive - a hard line to walk as a server.We will definitely eat there again when passing through but only if we can sit outside so we can hear each other talk.
